Pen Effects

Brush Effects

Effects Experimenting with Lines

If you use a mechanical pen or pen stick, you will get a uniform line. It works fine for many wordings and drawings. However, after a while, it gives rise to boredom. It does not look very exciting. Then you can try using an instrument that is responsive to pressure or with specially shaped nibs.

By varying the pressure of thin pen nibs, or by using a brush instead of a pen, the lines you draw is not uniform in thickness. It looks more appealing to many people.

Pen Effects

The pen can be used to create different types of effects. The pen nibs can sometimes be changed, especially in ink dip pens. Some examples can be seen here:

Other effects

Some cartoonists buy ready-made transfer designs for their creation. Some execute the effects using other materials like sponge
